The Film Writers’ Association
has decided to honor the Tamil Nadu
Chief Minister M Karunanidhi with
the Arignar Anna Award for his contribution
to the Tamil cinema. The award will
be presented at the Film Writers’
Association conference that is scheduled
to be held in March 2010.
The announcement was made during
the closing ceremony of the Anna
Centenary celebration held by the
association at the South Indian
Film Chamber of Commerce. Those
present at the function included
the state food minister Velu, film
personalities Vaali, Piraichoodan,
Pa. Vijay, Na. Muthukumar, Rama
Narayanan, Radha Ravi, VC Guhanathan
and Vikraman. |
