Ameer seems to have developed a
penchant for bringing in new talents
to the film industry. More importantly,
he has been roping in people who
are not connected to cinema. In
Yogi, Ameer had journalist Devarajan
play a very crucial role. And now
the buzz in Kollywood is that he
has signed up Jaffer Sait, the Inspector
General of Police, Intelligence
Branch, Chennai, to play the role
of a police officer in his Kannabiran.
The IG, sources say, has obtained
requisite permission from the government
to star in the film.
