Simbudevan has two films - Imsai
Arasan 23-aam Pulikesi and Arai
Enn 305-il Kadavul - to his credit
and both these films were quite
different. The director once again
treads a path that is quite forgotten
in Tamil cinema. Yes, he has been
working on a cowboy subject Irumbu
Kottai Murattu Singam, which has
Raghava Lawrence playing the male
lead, and with him are three heroines
Sandhya, Padmapriya and Lakshmi
Rai.
In a recent interview to an English
daily, the director said that his
film will not be like the films
that were made decades ago. He also
explicitly states that none of the
three heroines would sport skimpy
clothes that are synonymous with
cowboy films.
