Director K S Ravikumar joins the
league of film personalities conferred
with honorary doctorates. Dr. M
G R University will bestow the doctorate
upon him at the 18th graduation
ceremony to be held at the university
premises. The doctorate is to honor
KSR’s achievements in the
field of cinema. KSR has churned
out hits after hits in Tamil and
Telugu and worked with the crème
de la crème of actors during
his career spanning a few decades
starting with the thriller Puriyadha
Pudhir, produced by Super Good films.
His latest is the Surya starrer
Diwali release Aadhavan.
Along with KSR, former cricketer
Kapil Dev and V K Saraswat, Scientific
Advisor to Defence Minister will
also be conferred with doctorates
during the university’s convocation.
