Cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh who
was last seen in Santosh Subramaniam
as Jayam Ravi’s elder brother
will soon don the lead role in a
Tamil film titled Patta Patti 50-50.
The actor had in fact undergone
rigorous training to hone his acting
skills. According to this smart
cricketer, he was approached by
several directors and producers
in the past but he decided to wait
for a script that suited him. The
film, we hear, will be shot entirely
in Madurai. Readers may recall that
this left-handed batsman and a right-arm
off-break bowler was also seen as
a judge in a comedy television show.
Patta Patti 50-50 will be produced
by Sanraa Media in association with
Flicker Studios. Yuvaraj, who will
be making his directorial debut
with this film, was an erstwhile
assistant to Jayam Raja and Simbu
Devan.
