The director of Peraanmai, Jananathan,
said that the film is all set to
be dubbed in English and released
in Hollywood. Peraanmai, which hit
the screens this Deepavali, has
turned out to be a hit and is raking
in good collections.
The film’s success has evidently
pushed the director and producer
to consider a Hollywood release.
Yet another important reason is
the market that Tamil cinemas now
enjoy in the international market.
Peraanmai, which had Jayam Ravi
playing the lead role, was shot
in the thick forests in Tamil Nadu.
The film was cut down to 90 minutes
to suit the international audience.
