Lyricist Pa Vijay has donned the
greasepaint for the first time in
Gnabagangal. During the press meet,
he said that Gnabagangal is based
on the real life incident that happened
to his friend. Elaborating further,
Vijay said that when he came to
Chennai aspiring to write lyrics,
his fellow room mate, also with
the same ambitions, fell in love
with a girl, but the relationship
did not work out and she went on
to marry someone else. Following
this, his friend returned back to
his hometown only to fall sick and
die. This is the story of Gnabagangal,
said Pa Vijay.
The lyricist-actor said that he
would file a white paper on this
film very soon. It is to be noted
that this is the first time a white
paper for a movie is being made.
He added that he has put in all
his investments in Gnabagangal and
if it goes wrong, then this press
meet would be his last.
