The second installment of the Dan
Brown thriller novel The Da Vinci
Code, Angels and Demons is ready
to hit the screens in India on May
29, 2009. Promoted as the prequel
to The Da Vinci Code, Angels and
Demons will have Tom Hanks repeating
the role of Harvard professor and
symbologist Robert Langdon with
Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Stellan
Skarsgaard and Armin Mueller-Stahl
in supporting roles.
Having been released all over the
world to ‘encouraging response’
according to a Sony Pictures’
official statement, the movie has
been certified in India and will
be released in English, Hindi, Tamil
and Telugu. This remains the biggest
Hollywood release in India in a
while ever since the multiplex tug
of war commenced and release of
Hindi films was stalled.
