Music composers Salim and Sulaiman
have been nominated for the prestigious
Emmy awards. The duo’s nomination
comes for their song “We like
being small” in the American
show Wonder Pets.
Sulaiman reportedly told the IANS
that “We are completely on
top of the world. It is a great
feeling. We are perhaps the first
Indians to be nominated at the Emmy's
so it's actually an honor for us.”
He said that the producers of the
show had heard the Chak De! India
number and decided to sign them
up for the Wonder Pets. The duo
had scored music for some of the
blockbusters like Rab Ne Bana Di
Jodi and Fashion.
The award ceremony is slated to
be held in Los Angeles on August
30th 2009.
