The biography, A R Rahman: The
Musical Storm, penned by Chennai-based
journalist Kamini Mathai has some
interesting facts about the musician.
The Oscar winner, however, wants
the book to be called as the unofficial
biography. Speaking about her experience
while trying to gather information,
the author said that getting answers
to the questions posed to AR Rahman
could be difficult if the queries
are not specific.
The author also disclosed in a recent
interview to a news portal that
Rahman was more specific that his
information about his wife and children
should not be mentioned in the book.
Rahman also opens up on his religious
faith and how conversion worked
out positively for him and his family,
in the book.
