Director Vasanthabalan is discussing
with this contemporaries on an exclusive
Tamil film festival. The director
said that the Tamil film industry
has inched forward with films like
Kadhal, Veyyil, Subramaniapuram,
Chennai 28 and Nadodigal. He feels
that the Tamil films must get the
recognition they deserve in the
global scenario and a film festival
will pave way for identifying the
talents.
Vasanthabalan said that Iranian
films are well appreciated by the
global audience and soon Tamil films
should also reach that stage. With
the director’s efforts, next
year could be the dawn of the Tamil
