Mozart
of Madras A R Rahman, who, reported
to have agreed to do a film, denied
the news to a tabloid recently. He
clarified that it is only a documentary
he stars in and not a full length
feature film. The documentary titled
‘Son of a Preacher Man’
is about the life and times of the
Grammy award winner P J Morton, who
is a successful singer, songwriter
and producer.
Rahman appears as himself in the documentary
that features his interview on Morton.
He also worked with Morton in the
2009 Hollywood romcom Couples Retreat,
for the song Sajna from the soundtrack
of the movie. Rahman’s interview
will focus on his association with
Morton during the film’s music
composition. |
