Kamalesh
Kothari, a financier based in Chennai,
has filed a petition against Soundarya
Rajinikanth and has asked for a stay
order on the release of Goa. Goa,
which is slated for release on January
29th, has been produced by Soundarya
Rajinikanth’s Ochre Studios.
According to the petitioner, Soundarya
approached him for a Rs. 2-crore loan
and promised Rs. 30 lakhs as royalty
along with the interest. She also
promised to return the amount even
before the release of the film. With
the impending release, there is no
sign of her returning the amount,
states the petitioner.
The issue will be taken up for hearing
on January 28th 2010. Let’s
wait for the outcome. |
