Why Raja was absent at Naan Kadavul audio release?

At long last, the audio release of Naan Kadavul was held amidst a lot of fanfare. Many illustrious directors, actors and the who’s who of Kollywood attended the first function of the year. Though most of the important people were present at the audio launch, maestro Ilayaraja who is the music director of the film was

conspicuous by his absence. This had in fact raised many eyebrows.

When the mater was probed, it was found out that Raja was very busy with the re-recording work of the film. Readers may recall that sometime back, he had remarked that re-recording for Naan Kadavul appears to be a bit tough and he is not in a position to say how many days he would take to complete the same. Since the release date is nearing, which is around Pongal, Raja is working round the clock to complete his job. The perfectionist that he is, one can be rest assured about the quality of the end product.
