Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson in a lip-lock!

Vicky Cristina Barcelona is writer-director Woody Allen’s new movie in production.

And one of the scenes involved shooting a steamy on-screen kiss between Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson. Now, the interesting thing here is that when it was being shot, the director, Allen,

wasn’t paying attention to the scene. He was worried about a mark on his hand.

Cruz reportedly said: "He could not care less about our kissing scene. When we would ask him about it, he was more interested in a new mark which had appeared on his hand and was worrying him. He even stopped shooting so he could go to the doctor and get it checked out. We all had to wait around for him to come back."

She also revealed that when Allen returned, he was still too distracted to properly oversee the seductive scene. A steamy woman on woman scene like this would have usually elicited a more excitable response from Woody Allen in earlier years – it does look like he’s moved on past the age when kinky sex becomes a reason to get up in the morning. But hey, that doesn’t mean we won’t enjoy the Penelope-Scarlett lip-lock when the movie hits screens.
