A
cheating and threat to murder cases filed by
Senthil Kumar of Tambaram against Kamal Haasan
was dismissed by the High Court of Madras. The
petitioner had alleged that the story of Dasavatharam
belonged to him and Kamal used it without giving
due credit to him. A petition to this effect
was filed at the Tamabaram judicial magistrate,
who ordered the Abiramipuram police to register
a case to investigate the matter. However, the
petitioner filed a petition in the High Court
alleging that the police refused to register
a case against Kamal.
The prosecution, in its contention said that
the Chennai Suburban Police Commissionerate
is due to be formed soon, which will duly register
the case. Following this explanation, the case
has been dismissed. |
