Director
Lingusamy is excited over the release of his
much-awaited film Paiyya. According to the director,
the movie, which has Karthi and Tamannah as
the lead pair, is a road film. Initially, Nayanthara
was signed up to play Karthi’s pair but
things did not work out and eventually she was
replaced with Tamannah.
The director, in a recent interview to a national
daily, recalls that what happened between the
production house and Nayan was due to communication
gap. The director was quoted as saying, “Things
may not have worked out, but I’m still
her fan.”
He said that Tamannah was zeroed in because
he wanted an actress that could perform well
throughout the movie. |
