The most popular band in India, Indian Ocean that has fans all over the world has been captured on film. We are not talking about any jazzy music video but a full-length documentary on the lives of the most loved music band in the country. 'Leaving home' the movie in question is India’s first non-fiction film to release nationally and India’s first music film to make it to the big screen nationally.

On April 2nd 2010, this film will release around the country exclusively in Big Cinemas. And to promote this event of a film, the Band is going live on stage today, the 1st of April in Big Cinemas IMAX, Wadala in Mumbai. This event will set the tone for things to come the very next day when the reels roll. With the event tickets selling like hot cakes it would be interesting to see how this experimental movie fares at the box office.
