the trend of importing talents
from Malayalam movies, Mamta
Mohandass was flown to Kollywood
to be cast in Sivappathikaram
opposite Vishal. Her vivacious
looks coupled with her great
bod did not work wonders in
Malayalam where the actors are
adjudged only based on their
acting talents.
She debuted with Mayoogam in
Malayalam and went on to work
with Sureshgopi in ‘Lanka’
and with Jayaram in ‘Madhuchandralekha’.

did not perform well at the
box office, which eventually
left her with no work in Malayalam.

of Sivappathikaram. Her looks
adding to the language advantage
– she speaks Tamil beautifully
well – made producers
rave for her.

in talks for her next movies
after Sivappathikaram. Is there

So be it, is her attitude. And
if Sivappathikaram proves to
be a hit at the box office,
Mamta is most likely to become
the next big thing in Kollywood.
