India's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel is reportedly planning to launch a 4G enabled smartphone in the first week of October priced at ₹2,000. According to media reports, the new smartphone by Airtel will have a 4-inch screen, 1GB RAM, VoLTE calling and Android 7.0 operating system. Earlier, Reliance Jio had launched JioPhone at an effective price of ₹1500.
