According to reports, DMDK chief Vijayakanth has reportedly been elected as the permanent general secretary of the party at a party meeting held in Karaikudi on Saturday. Top party functionaries reportedly attended the meeting where Vijayakanth was given with enormous powers. Further, four party leaders Sudhish, Parthasarathy and A R Elangovan are elected as deputy secretaries, say reports.
