According to reports, a newborn baby allegedly died due to lack of ventilators at a government hospital in Delhi on Wednesday. The baby reportedly developed breathing problems soon after birth and was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, which did not have ventilators. The baby was then taken to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors. The incident happened despite the chief minister directing the health department to immediately formulate and implement a plan to ensure critical patients get life support systems.
