Tamil Nadu dairy minister Rajendra Balaji, in an interview to News 18, said the merger of the two factions, led by CM Edappadi K Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam, is necessary to retain the party symbol ‘Twin-leaf’. Talking about the merger, the minister also said that there will be sharing of power in both the party and government.
