Arulselvam, working for Chengalpet government hospital, who was on his way to go as a protection for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami died in an accident. Demanding compensation for this death to his family, doctors of Chengalpet government hospital staged a protest and demanded safety measures for doctors who go as protection for Chief Minister.
