A 20-year-old man died in an accident when he tried to speed away in his bike after stealing a phone from a lorry driver, according to reports. The accident happened when the bike hit a median in Ambattur Industrial Estate. After a passer-by made a complaint, police took him to Kilpauk medical hospital, where he was reportedly declared brought dead.
