Believing that notes have tracking chips, burglars in Delhi allegedly steal Rs. 2.3 lakhs from a bank. Three employees of Delhi transport corporation were held by the police with 46 polythene bags of coins with Rs. 5 and Rs.10 coins. According to media reports, the accused told the police that they believed notes were being tracked so they stole coins.
