The Delhi High Court on Friday allowed the Income Tax Department to launch an investigation on the acquisition of National Herald. Several reports suggest that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi will face trial, following the order. Notably, the investigation was ordered based on the complaint by Subramanian Swamy accusing Congress of cheating and breach of trust.
