Child Welfare Officer J Raja Meenakshi on Thursday reportedly lodged a complaint against Social Welfare Minister V Saroja on Thursday. According to reports, Meenakshi had alleged that Saroja had taken a bribe of Rs 10 lakhs to allow her to "continue in her job". Meenakshi further claims that Saroja demanded a bribe worth Rs 30 lakh to make her job permanent. Speaking to reporters, Meenakshi also said that the Minister and her husband had allegedly "threatened" her.
