The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday announced that demonetisation has not led to lower economic growth. Speaking to reporters, RBI Governor Urjit Patel reportedly said: "Data shows that the slowdown in the economic activity set in during Q1, FY17, well ahead of demonetisation."
