The Election Commission on Wednesday reportedly announced the election date for the next Presidential election. According to reports, the election will be held on July 17, and votes will be counted three days later. The president is chosen by an 'Electoral College' that includes national and state lawmakers. If initial reports are to be believed, BJP and its allies are positioned to win the election.
