Two youngsters reportedly barged into the CPI (M) head office and tried to manhandle party general secretary Sitaram Yechury. But the staff of the party office quickly intervened and rescued Yechury. According to the party, the attackers shouted slogans of "CPI(M) Murdabad" and "Hindu Sena zindabad" while entering the CPI(M)'s office. The CPI(M) said it will not be cowed down by the "Sanghs goonda gaddi (hooliganism)".
