According to PTI reports, Indian scientist Shrinivas Kulkarni has won the Dan David prize for his work in the field of astronomy on Thursday. He will get $ 1 million as prize money by the Dan David Foundation headquartered at Tel Aviv University on May 21. Notably, the Caltech professor's achievements include identification of galaxies associated with gamma-ray bursts and construction of a night sky survey tool.
