Man faces ₹14 lakh fine for climbing Everest without permit

A South African Nation was caught while attempting to scale the Mt Everest without paying the permit fee. According to reports, the Nepal government fined him Rs 14 lakhs and a ban on climbing for five years. Forty-three-year-old Ryan Sean Davy's passport has also been confiscated, an official added. Notably, foreigners are charged Rs 71550 to climb Mount Everest.
