Former Australian cricketer David Hussey called the D/L method as outdated following Kolkata Knight Riders win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL Eliminator on Wednesday. Hussey tweeted, “T20 cricket and D/L needs an immediate upgrade. D/L is seriously out of date, and that's Irrespective of the #eliminator result”. Ex-New Zealand captain and Rising Pune Supergiant coach Stephen Fleming in a reply tweet suggested wicket reductions could be introduced in chases.
