The Chennai Police on Thursday reportedly conducted a raid at MV Ramalingam & Co, a textile shop in Kodambakkam, Chennai. According to reports, the police seized bundles of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 demonetized notes having a face value of Rs 45 crores from the raid. Several reports have suggested that the demonetised notes belong to a jewellery shop owner in the city.
