According to a report by Livemint, Reliance Industries may plan to launch its joint venture with State Bank of India, Jio Payments Bank, in December. The launch was delayed as the RBI has asked the Payments Bank to demonstrate its capabilities, compliance with regulations. Notably, Airtel launched India’s first payments bank followed by several others.
