Tamil Nadu government has reportedly announced this year's Diwali bonus for public sector employees ranging between 10% and 20%. The State has reportedly allocated Rs 489.91 crore for the bonus which will benefit over 3,69,910 employees. According to reports, the loss-making public sector companies will get 10% bonus; employees from profit-making public sector firms such as electricity, transportation etc. will get 20% bonus.
