The Centre has reportedly proposed a ban on all the transactions in cash above Rs 2 lakh. According to reports, the move comes after the Finance Minister announced a cap of Rs 3 lakh on cash transactions in the union budget. Notably, the government has also made Aadhaar card mandatory to file IT returns and apply for PAN card.
