Retired US police chief held at Airport over his Muslim name

Hassan Aden, a retired Police Chief, and United States citizen for over 40 years was reportedly detained by a Customs and Border Patrol officer because of his Muslim name. 52-year-old Aden, a retired Police Chief from Greenville, North Carolina and a former deputy chief of Alexandria police in Virginia, was reportedly returning from his mother’s 80th birthday in Paris when he was detained and interrogated by the Airport officials. Notably, Aden addressed this issue through a Facebook post.
