CBI books IIT-Goa director in corruption case

According to reports, CBI has booked the Goa’s IIT director BK Mishra on Wednesday for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets amounting to ₹1.14 crore. The FIR alleges that when Mishra served as the Director of Odisha's Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, his assets shot up from ₹3.79 lakh in 2006 to ₹2.19 crore by 2016.
