Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, who was announced as the Presidential nominee of BJP-led NDA, has resigned from the post following his nomination. President Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the resignation of Kovind as the Governor of Bihar, say reports. A communique issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan reportedly said West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi will discharge the functions of the Governor of Bihar, in addition to his own duties.
