According to reports, a minor boy who works in building construction was arrested, for allegedly raping and murdering a 63-year old woman on April 25 in Avaraikulam village, in Kanyakumari district. The accused was nabbed by the Anjugiramam police on Sunday and remanded him to a juvenile home in Tirunelveli. Notably, the woman’s body was found near Avaraikulam forest after the accused took the police to the spot.
