As many as 11 soldiers were killed, while nine others were injured after Taliban militants attacked an army base in Afghanistan's Kandahar province on Monday. Reportedly, the militants took control of the military base for a brief duration and later fled with a large number of weapons. Notably, this is the second Taliban attack in the country in two days.
