Nearly 1000 villagers of Kanjasa in Allahabad have got Aadhaar cards mentioning January 1 as their official date of birth. According to reports, a 'technical goof- up' has led to this situation. Neeraj Dubey, Block Development Officer, announced that an inquiry had been ordered and announced that affected villagers will be provided with 'fresh' Aadhaar cards.
