24 dead, 8 injured as bus plunges into deep gorge

According to reports, a bus plunged into a deep gorge in Uttarakhand on Tuesday killing at least 24 persons and injuring eight others. The bus full of pilgrims from Indore, Madhya Pradesh were returning from the Gangotri shrine. The accident took place near Nalupani in Uttarkashi district when the driver lost control. The injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
