Creature 3D is an upcoming thriller Science Fiction film starring Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas in the lead roles. The film is directed by Raaz fame Vikram Bhatt. Music for the film is composed by Mithoon who earlier gave a blockbuster musical hit Aashiqui 2 last year.

Saawan Aaya Hai
Singers: Arijit Singh
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

The album begins with an amazing melody sung by the breezy vocalist Arijit Singh. In the midst of poetic lyrics, the composition is wonderful with good string section, rhythm and feel good ambience. The use of harmonica is another highlight of the composition.  The interludes are well woven with dew drop acoustic guitar and groovy loops.

Hum Na Rahein Hum
Singers: Benny Dayal
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

The feel good ambience continues in this track with the voice of Benny Dayal now. The mesmerizing guitar blends brilliantly with groovy flute. There is a great eeriness associated with the track despite being melodiously beautiful.  Benny Dayal makes sure that the velvetiness of the composition is retained through his voice.

Naam E-Wafa
Singers: Farhan Saeed, Tulsi Kumar
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

It is time for a fantastic duet and rightfully it arrives for the listener’s pleasure. The timely piano touches and great voice of Farhan Saeed offers a warm welcome. Though the track has irresistible resemblance with “Tum hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2 which was composed by Mithoon himself, this track carries a great soulfulness throughout its progress.

Ik Pal Yahi
Singers: Saim Bhatt
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

Another melancholic solo in the midst of groovy guitars graces the album. Great lyrics add value to the track which is skillfully comprised of good layers of piano, string section and guitar. The progressive style of the composition is well handled by the composer to give a great feel to the listener.  The modern rock touches give the additional contemporary touch to the track.

Mehboob Ki
Singers: Mithoon
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

In contrast with the unique mood which the album has set till now, a paced up track paves its way now. The funky rhythm and breezy voice of Mithoon creates a great music environment for the listener. The modern loops are neatly blended over the progressive string section and Punjabi rhythm section. The second interlude is a great piano solo feast.

Saawan Aaya Hai (Unplugged)
Singers: Tony Kakkar
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

The grooviest track of the album sounds even sweeter in unplugged format with just an acoustic guitar as the supporting instrument. However, it is Arijit Singh’s version which scores better because of his soulful voice.  A very special mention is needed for the blend of acoustic guitar and harmonica for this particular version.

Hum Naa Rahein Hum (Remix)
Singers: Benny Dayal
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

The melancholic solo is mixed to get the trance like genre in a commendable manner. However, the House Mix electronic loops overshadow the relaxing tune in this version.

Naam- E- Wafa (Remix)
Singers: Farhan Saeed, Tulsi Kumar
Lyrics: Tony Kakkar

The breezy duet is remixed in 90s Trance format and it is done quite admirably. The base chords were given the right importance to enhance the feel of the composition.  The usage of electronica with right timing is the biggest asset of the track.

Verdict: Creature 3D is a feel good album from Mithoon
