The midday serials in various channels lull us
into slumber. Though some are engrossing many
others have an element of “Ennui”.
Since it drags on for months you do not miss anything
even if you do not view it one day.
I
have seen people glued to the TV sets and biting
their nails oblivious of the surroundings. Blissfully
ignorant of the entrance of the guest. They customarily
nod to the guests who have entered. They are not
in a state to find out who the guests are. Doors
ajar, even the “honorable” thief can
enter the house to plunder. I am not exaggerating
this fact. It has been documented in news papers.
