Rajinikanth is carried away not by exotic locations but by two ordinary town in India—SriRangapattinam in Mysore and Visakhapatinam in Andhra Pradesh. If at all there is a foreign locale that attracts him it is Switzerland. He likes the place only when songs are picturized there.

Kamalhassan's fave spots are Kodaikanal, the Botanical Gardens at Ooty, Darjeeling and Kashmir. Outside India his favorite spots are in Australia and Canada.

Like Kamal, Vijay too likes Australia. His fave spot is 1500' bridge at Sydney Harbour. Asked whether he loved any place in India as much as Sydney, he said he had to think.

As expected, Ajith's favourite locations are Switzerland and New Zealand. They look like heaven on earth, he confesses. “When I am really at the location, I am unable to appreciate the beauty because of the tensions of work.” “In India I like our own Marina Beach. Don't forget Kashmir, I like that too. At least on screen, you can visit the place safely," says Ajith.

Vikram's heart is nearer home, Paramakudi. “My god, man, how beautiful our own places look on screen!” the hero grins. Of course, Vikram also likes the beauty of Kulu Manali and then, he likes Switzerland too.

Surya is floored by the backwaters of Kerala. He is completely fascinated with places like Thodupuzha, Kozhalpara flyover and Kudiyaputhoor.
