He
makes movies that are far away from
the tried and tested formula for hits
in the industry. He showed his willingness
to experiment when he made his first
movie Five Star with a bunch of five
youngsters fresh out of college. Though
the movie did not do a great deal
at the box office it did give Prasanna
his first break which steered him
towards greater deeds..He followed
it up with the more successful Prashanth
starrer, Virumbugiren. The director also stood out with
lively song picturisation. More than three years later
he came back with yet another stand out effort. This
time the effort found acceptance at the box office upstaging
one or two star films. Thiruttu Payale was noted for
its radically different storyline and slick presentation.
Though not quite hot property at the moment, he is certainly
seen as one of the young guns with potential.
