After
Sethu, Vikram acted in the movie Vinukkum Mannukkum
which was a flop. Then he worked in the movie
Dhil which was directed by his classmate Dharani.
He added muscle for this film as he had to play
a cop.
He looked very dashing with his close cut hair
and swaggered bearing. The simple story of raising
one’s voice against the evils in the society
was packaged well by the director’s racy
screenplay. Vikram proved that he was also adept
at action with his superb performance in stunt
sequences. The movie was a big commercial hit.
